Seattle Center is home to many of Seattle’s annual festivals such as Bumbershoot, Seattle International Beer Festival, and Gay Pride as well as Key Arena, the Pacific Science Center, EMP, and most notably, the Space Needle.
Like any tall building with an observation deck in the city, it’s a nice panoramic view of the city. But unlike other cities, the Seattle skyline also boasts sound views backed against beautiful mountian ranges. Also, the ride up the clear elevators is pretty cool.
Pacific Science Center
Whether you’re a kid or adult, the interactive math and science exhibits are always engaging. Come see a blockbuster or an interesting documentary at the IMAX where the screen is six stories high!
Historically home to the Super Sonics, the “Key” remains to be a decent venue for big-name shows. If you want a unique experience, come see the Seattle Storm play or watch a bout with the Rat City Roller Girls.
